RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -Rapid Skillz is proud to host their first Annual Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday, April 10th starting at 10 AM. Plenty of fun and games as well as big prizes and live performances will take place.

The morning starts with the “Young Life Dodge-Ball Tournament!”  Young Life is a Christian based, Volunteer, Mentor Program for youth.

Next, the “Dodge, Duck, Dip and... Dodge” will raise money for the Athletic Scholarship Fund as well as for a chance to battle the Staff and Refs!

The event will be hosted by Radio Personality and Stand Up Comedian, Brent Reed.

A half time show will be performed by the Rapid City Gymnasts.  With musical performance by “ALBEEZ”!

During Half time there will also be a presentation by Dr. Jared Pearson from “Performance Vision Training Center” and a presentation by Dr. Zachary Bergman D.C. (Chiropractic) of HealthSource of Rapid City Central.

All persons who donate at least $100.00 either on the Go Fund Me page or at the door will join World Famous Chef  Tony Balay for a class on the perfect BBQ ribs, pulled pork and brisket.  Those students for the day will then be able to dine on these perfect creations.

The day’s Grand Finale will be an amazing aerial performed by the multi-talented team from Live it Up Studios.  Performers hanging from the ceilings on silks, lyra rings and fire shows are just a taste of what is to come.  The show begins after dinner.

These scholarships are for young athletes that would otherwise be unable to follow their dreams in the world of sports.

Rapid Skillz goal is ten (10) Scholarships or $100,000.00.  Each scholarship will pay for one athlete’s entry into a program  for two years.  It will allow them to travel and provide them with uniforms and equipment.  If they reach only $50,000.00 or less, then each scholarship will be for one year each.

They are asking for a donation of $25.00 dollars at the door for all spectators, minimum is $5.00  All teens under 18 enter free.  All donations will be accepted.

After the dodgeball tournament, stick around for more performances from Albeez and participate in SKILLZ challenges to win awesome prizes and bragging rights.
