Today marks National Signing Day and number of area schools had student-athletes take advantage of the opportunity.
At Central, the Cobblers had three athletes put ink to paper.
Sara Gutknecht signed for soccer at Newman University.
Kyle Elder will play football at the University of Mary.
And Ty Olson signed on the dotted line for football at Dakota Wesleyan.
Ty Olson says, 'I really liked the small-school atmosphere up there. The coaches and players were real nice when i was there. They had a good intention and looked like they were building pretty good for seasons to come.'
Sara Gutknecht says, 'I was playing in a tournament in Kansas City, last year, my junior year. The coaches saw me and they e-mailed me. So, I checked it out and saw what they were all about and saw if they had my major, and they did. So, I really, really liked it. So, I went down, and toured it and practiced with the team, and everything just felt wonderful and right, so I had to say yes.'>
