Scoopers power to win over Cavalier boys

The Sturgis boys are off to a terrific start to the high school basketball season, jumping out to a 3-and-1 mark on the year, and that one loss came at the hands of the fourth ranked team in the state in Aberdeen Central.
Friday, the Scoopers hit the court, hosting the Saint Thomas More Cavaliers.

Sturgis again Dawson Geuke walks it up and finds Gryan Garland who hits a 3 to keep the Scoopers ahead

More battling back and Ryder Kirsch works his man down low gets the basket and the fould Sturgis holds on to a 2 point lead

Sturgis keeping the pressure on Connor Crane is able to get another 3 for the Scoopers

Time winding down in the first quarter Caden Casey finds Jake Bohnenkamp who throws up the 3 and is able to get it to fall Cavaliers trailed by 7 after one
Sturgis powers through for the win. Final Score 65 to 39.
