After managing just one point out of a possible six last weekend against the Wichita Thunder, the Rapid City Rush made their way back to the Black Hills for another three-game set against the Idaho Steelheads.
Coach Daniel Tetrault and his staff trying to get the players ready to rocke.
--------
But it was Idaho coming out quickly in this one, Jefferson Dahl finds Cole Ully for the first goal of the contest.
----------
Under a minute later, the Steelheads strike once again, AJ White goes to Will Merchant. Merchant goes back across the body of Adam Vay for goal number two.
----------
The Rush trying to counter, Daniel Leavens with a nice heads-up feed to Dylan Labbe, but Labbe unable to hit the one-timer.
---------
Later, Idaho trying to pile on, Connor Chatham sends it in toward Merchant, but his redirect is sent wide of the pipe.
---------
Rush back to work, Corbin Baldwin with the feed out front to Labbe, he feeds it down to Dante Salituro who turns and fires, but Philippe Desrosiers shuts down the effort. The Rush offense a little anemic in the first period.
--------
Idaho pressing late in the first frame, Stevens McParland takes a hack, back out to Justin Parizek for another chance, but Adam Vay is equal to the task.
But Idaho powers to the win. 4-to-2 the final score.
