Lady Cobblers roll Douglas

The Central Cobbler girls stumbled out of the blocks in the high school girls basketball season, dropping their first four games, but last weekend, Coach Kraig Blomme's squad notched a win over Huron, and Tuesday, the Lady Cobblers sought to keep the ball rolling in the winning direction, playing host to Douglas.
Out to Naasz Gym we go. We'll pick it up in the second quarter of action.
---------
Cobblers on the move, Adison Young drives to the baseline, then kicks it to the corner for Abbie Freeman who pops the three. Signature Cobbler play pays off.
----------
Douglas has a counter, Jordynn Toliver pushes it over to Jeslyn Jindra for three as the Patriots respond.
---------
The Lady Cobblers continue to pressure, Kenya Merrival with the beautiful pass, threads the needle to Abbie Freeman underneath for the two. Central up 13 at that point.
---------
Douglas bounces back, Jindra pushes in on the baseline, but misses the jumper. But, Chantell Jones is there for the folo.
----------
But Central just too much, Bailey Johnson goes inside to Merrival who bangs it
Central opens it up in the second half as they get the win. Final Score 77 to 38.
