So, from hoops to hockey we recap the week that was in this week's edition of the FOX's Finest.

Rush on the attack in the first period, Pavel Jenys collects the wobbly puck and lets it rip and he'll find the net for the first goal of the contest. We'll have more from this game a little later on.
---------

170-pounds, former Athlete of the Week Kolby Kost against Sturgis' Taylor Coffield and Kost with the quick reversal and just muscles Coffield to his back, scoops up the arms and gets the pin.
Central gets the win. Final Score 38 to 28.
--------
To the college hardwood with South Dakota Mines hosting Nebraska Christian.
The Rockers on the move, Troy Brady delivers the nice feed to Wilfred Dickson and Dickson finishes for two at the net. Nice assist from Brady, and Dickson takes advantage.
The Mines men blow by Nebraska Christian. Final Score 81 to 53.
------------
The Spearfish Spartan boys on the road against Stevens.
Spartans on the attack, Tayven Aga drives to the rack gets bodied, but hits the hoop and gets the foul.
Nice concentration from Aga to finish the play, but Stevens goes on to win it. Final Score 65 to 40.
----------
More from the high school hardwood, the Central girls in action against Douglas
The Lady Cobblers continue to pressure, Kenya Merrival with the beautiful pass, threads the needle to Abbie Freeman underneath for the two. Central up 13 at that point.
Central opens it up in the second half as they get the win. Central rolls 77 to 38.
---------
More from Saturday's showdown between the Rapid City Rush and Idaho.
Steelheads on the power play, but the Rush get the turnover and head down the ice, Daniel Leavens with a terrific backhand pass to Jack Walker who pops it right over the top of Ryan Faragher.
Outstanding pass, and Walker gets it just over the top of the outstretched glove for the shorthanded goal.
And the Rush stops the losing skid with the 3-to-1 win.>
