Lady Hardrockers fall to CSU-Pueblo, 66-64

The Lady Hardrockers took on the undefeated, top-ranked, CSU-Pueblo Friday night, and the South Dakota Mines gave them a run for their money.

The Hardrockers have the 52-48 lead over the number-1 team, with time to go in the 4th quarter, and they add to it, Megan Rohrer gets fed and finds the hoop.

Pueblo now, Taylor Long makes the pass to Jaszymn Johnson for the 3, and it's a 5-point game, 56-51 Mines.

Pueblo's next basket looks almost identical, Johnson knocking down the same shot, and things are starting to get interesting.

More from CSU, Molly Rohrer gives it to Anderson, and she makes the basket to tie the game at 56.

The Hardrockers pull back ahead with 5 minutes left as Taylor Molstad takes it to the hoop. 58-56, Hardrockers.

It's older sister vs. younger sister here; Megan Rohrer drives and shoots over her sophomore sister, Molly, and gets the bucket. 60-56 Mines.

With 6 seconds left, Pueblo has the 66-64 lead after the missed free-throw. The mines get one last shot off, but it's blocked, and the Thunderwolves get the win, 66-64 the final score.
