A little community outreach is what Cory's Tire Factory in Bell Fourche were aiming for today.
Experts were teaching women the important skill of changing a flat tire. According to AAA, it is a skill that nearly 20% (39 million) of U.S. drivers do not have.
Kevin McKay, store manager at Cory's Tire Factory, says "All of us have wives and sisters and moms and nothing's worse than thinking one of them can be on the side of the road and not be able to help themselves, especially on the interstate or somewhere real busy we want everyone to be safe and be able to get to a good safe place."
Cory's Tire Factory says when they were contacted by the local Chamber of Commerce with the idea, they were so pleased to help bring women and anyone in need of the skill up to speed.
