Woman celebrates President's Day at Mount Rushmore as part of life goal list

It's a holiday to celebrate all U.S. presidents, past and present, known as Presidents Day.
And what better way to celebrate than with the faces at Mount Rushmore.
One woman made a visit to the Shrine of Democracy, where she was taking the holiday pretty seriously.

Chrissy Maron says, "I'm a holiday enthusiast, I like especially under appreciated holidays, so it started with a trip to Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day and then I've been to Betsy Ross's house for Flag Day and naturally it just expanded to include other holidays."

It's Chrissy Maron's life goal to spend every holiday at the best location possible, which is why she ended up at Mount Rushmore for Presidents Day.
Maron is from Los Angeles, California and for this special trip to check off her list, she brought her Dad, Grandma and Mom from Connecticut.
And since Maron says everything is better with a costume, it only made sense for them to dress up as the famous faces of Mount Rushmore.

Maron says, "I kind of commandeered Lincoln, because let's face it, he's sort of the best for costume purposes, but after that, my Dad is kind of a spitting image of Teddy Roosevelt, so he was sort of a natural fit there and then I guess Grandma and Mom were just left with George and Thomas Jefferson, but my Grandmother's hair color matches pretty well with this wig she has, so worked out well."

But now comes the hard part of deciding where to go next.

Maron says, "I have a couple of options. I'm thinking about Salem for Halloween, also possibly Macy's Day Parade for Thanksgiving, so a couple more to check off and then I can expand to endless holidays. I still have to figure out where I'm going to go for Saint Patrick's Day, Easter, so I have a little bit of work to do."
