The Western Junior Livestock Show continued Thursday morning with the sheep show.
For the kids who show their animals, many hours are spent getting ready for show day. From beginners, to those who've been showing for multiple years, it takes preparation to bring an animal to a livestock show.
Bella Campbell says, "I've been showing for three years now, and it's a lot of work to get them ready. First, you have to wash them, and put them up on the stand and blow out their legs and maybe spray something in their like conditioner."
Campbell and many of the other kids who show sheep, cattle, and other livestock work through the year, practicing with their animal and providing their animal with proper nutrition so it can be ready on the day of the show.
