Warm weather keeps Main Street Square busy

Rapid City, SD Many took advantage of Friday's warmer weather to get outdoors.

Temps reached more than 80 degrees, which is the warmest in Rapid City so far this year.

In fact, it was warmer in the Black Hills than most cities southeast of here, even Miami, Florida.

Some took the time to enjoy the weather at Main Street Square.

Erica said "It's beautiful and no wind either and it's usually windy everywhere, so it's nice. I love it. Not rain, just sun. Just that's it. It's great to be able to come out and whether they're just playing in the sprinkler or just being out. Walking around, shopping."

Enjoy it while you can, meteorologists don't expect the thermometers to reach this high again for a couple weeks.
