United Blood Services calls for donors to help out in natural disaster

Representatives from the service center say summer is a time when donations are considerably low because of the return to school and people being busy with other tasks, but they say now is when the help of donors is needed the most.

Brittany Sigel, Donor Recruitment Manager says, "United Blood services is sometimes called upon to help out other centers around the nation and now it's one of those times where we can lend a hand to our sister centers that are along the Texas and Louisiana coast.
We're asking people to come in and really lend a hour to provide that product that can give somebody a lifetime or save their life."

Sigel highly suggests for people to come in within the next couple of days to give a donation to be able to make a good impact in this time of need.
