Three teens from Colorado and one from Sturgis appeared in Fourth Circuit Court on assault charges

Sturgis, SD Three teens from Colorado and one from Sturgis appeared in Fourth Circuit Court on assault charges.

18-year old Azariah Conley of Sturgis, 19-year old Moses Avila of Fort Collins,18-year old Elizabeth Mauk of Fort Collins, and 18-year old Armando Valdiva also of Fort Collins are charged with aggravated 2nd degree kidnapping,1st degree burglary, 1st degree robbery, conspiracy to commit burglary, aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, and identity theft.
The three males pleaded not guilty to those charges.

Mauk pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting to each of those charges.

The teens face up to 92 years behind bars and, or up to 132 thousand dollars in fines, if convicted of all charges.

Avila's and Azariah's bond was set for one hundred thousand dollars.
Valdiva's bond was set for two hundred thousand.

In a press release from the South Dakota Attorney General's office earlier this month ... the victim had told officers that she was punched and kicked while bound by tape and shot with a BB gun.

The teens are due back in court in January.
