Thousands enjoy annual Main Street Square Eggstravaganza

Hundreds of children collected colorful eggs at Main Street Square's annual Eggstravaganza on Saturday.

The Easter Bunny was busy taking pictures with many children at the event.

Kids could also ride the Express Train, get their face painted, and leap in bouncy houses.

Main Street Square Executive Director Megan Whitman says Eggstravaganza is free thanks to their sponsor Black Hills Community Bank.

Megan Whitman says, "This event really signals the start of activities assuming at Main Street Square so it kind of kicks off our season. It celebrates Spring. It gives families something to do over the holiday weekend especially with Easter just tomorrow, the egg hunt really kind of brings a little bit of festivity to the holiday."

Kids also had the opportunity to make their own rabbit ears, pet baby goats, and dance to music.

The Easter Bunny scattered 10,000 eggs in Memorial Park for Eggstravaganza.

That's the most eggs Main Street Square has ever had.
