Skates and a movie: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Saturday night visitors at Main Street Square could do more than just lace up their skates and glide along the ice.

They also had the chance to watch the classic "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

The square's ice rink was packed as skaters watched this holiday classic.

In the live-action adaption, the Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville.

But he has a change of heart when he meets the endearing Cindy Lou Who.

We asked a few kids what their favorite part of the movie was.

6-year-old Josiah Rhatican says, "My favorite part was the school part because I'm in school and I love school so."

10-year-old Jack Koscak says, "The Grinch's house. That's mostly what I remember."

14-year-old Lance Petrik says, " I just like seeing all the presents being stolen and given back to the city."

The ice rink will be open Christmas Eve from 10 to 5 and closed on Christmas day.
