Santa normally delivers gifts to children at home, but the big guy in red and white didn't forget about the little ones in the hospital.
Tuesday, Santa Claus paid a visit to sick kids staying at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Santa has been visiting kid patients at Regional for 18 years.
One registered nurse says it's fun to see their reaction when he walks into the room.
Pediatrics Registered Nurse Sheila McKinstry says, "It's really cool because they tell every person that comes into the room to visit them that Santa came to see them even when they're sick and not at home. They just think it's so cool that Santa was able to find them if they're not at home."
Mother of sick patient Lisa Cuff says, "We just think it makes everything a little bit brighter. It makes staying here, it's a nice place to stay. They really take care of him, but I think just seeing Santa makes it a little bit better."
Money for the hundreds of presents came from the Regional Health Foundation and Children's Miracle Network.
