Rushmore Mall hosts first ever Fall Festival

People were doing a little more than shopping at Rushmore Mall Saturday,
taking to the parking lot for the first ever Fall Festival.

With live music, a ring toss, a pie eating contest, pumpkin painting and more, Rushmore Mall had activities for the entire family to enjoy.
Retailers even got involved by carving and decorating their own specialized pumpkins.

Kat Stark, Marketing Director for Rushmore Mall, says "It's a great way, you know, to celebrate the end of the season. Fall is a wonderful time of the year with pumpkins and cider and corn stalks, it's just a fun time. We've got some great food trucks here, just a good excuse to get together and hang out in the parking lot."

To continue on with the season, Rushmore Mall plans to host a Pet and People Halloween contest on next weekend.
