Rocky Mountain Region aims to hire over 900 people

DENVER, Colo. (KEVN) - More than 900 temporary jobs are available for the 2018 field season for the Rocky Mountain Region of the U.S. Forest Service.

The region is comprised of several states including Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Positions are available in the following areas: administrative support, archaeology, engineering, fire, fisheries, forestry, recreation, trails and wildlife.

Those interested in applying can apply to a job through the USAJOBS website. The application for wildland fire and other early season temporary jobs will be available Dec. 15-21. Applications for engineering, fisheries, forestry, recreation and other positions will be available Jan. 26-Feb. 1.
