RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Rapid City street crews were hustling since Sunday night, trying to keep people on the roads during the storm.
According to Dale Pfeifle of the Rapid City Street Department, the biggest job wasn’t in clearing the streets of snow, rather in treating icy intersections and hills.
Crews admit the ice got ahead of them, causing some issues; but they were able to get on top of the task. “So we should be in good shape as far as the road conditions go,” Pfeifle said.
