Rapid City man identified as victim in Monday crash

Fatal crash

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 65-year old Clarence Ogle of Rapid City was killed early Monday morning in a two-semi crash east of Wall.

The Patrol says a Volvo VNL semi driven by 29-year old Ouaghzan Brahim of Chicago was heading east on I-90 when the driver lost control and overcorrected, with the tractor and trailer tipping over and blocking both eastbound lanes of I-90. The Patrol says Brahim and a passenger were able to get out with only minor injuries before the Freightliner pulling double trailers driven by Ogle collided with the first semi. Ogle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Patrol says charges are pending against Brahim.
