Rapid City gets outside with warm weather

Rapid City, SD Many in Rapid City took advantage of today's warmer temps to get outside.

Rapid City saw a high of 74 degrees - the second warmest day of the year so far.

This is also the first weekend Main Street Square's turf grass was open to the public.

The Square closed the ice rink early this winter because of the unseasonably warm weather.

Many also took the time to make their way up to Dinosaur Park.

Danaya Lita Szklarski said "Thought we'd come out to Dinosaur Park. Haven't been here in a while and thought it was pretty good weather to come out. So, they've never been here before so we decided to come here. I've been here since I was little so I thought I'd share that moment with them too. It is nice and it is breezy, but I think it's all better than 30 below."

The gift shop at Dinosaur Park will open in June.
