SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - No damage has been reported from two tornadoes that touched down in South Dakota, on opposite sides of the state.
The twisters occurred during severe storms that crossed the state Sunday evening.
One was reported in Todd County, near the Nebraska border. The other was in Campbell County, near the North Dakota border. That twister was classified as a landspout tornado, which is the land-based equivalent of a waterspout.
The storms also brought strong winds, rain and hail.
