A 21-year old man accused of being involved in an officer involved shooting in Box Elder in July, has received a plea offer from the state.

Cruz DeLeon is accused of pulling a gun and pointing it at a deputy when the deputy was at his home serving a warrant on another person.
DeLeon faces charges of attempted first degree murder, alternative counts of aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer, commission of a felony with a firearm, possession of a controlled drug or substance, and false personation, for that incident.
He also faces charges from earlier that month of commission of a felony with a firearm, possession of a controlled drug or substance, unauthorized ingestion and possession of a controlled weapon.
DeLeon also faces a charge of simple assault on a law enforcement officer from September of this year while in custody at the Pennington County Jail.
DeLeon's attorney said they need some time to look at the offer and will be back in court on December 4th.
