Tourists are exploring around the hills again this summer, and one restaurant in Custer is cooking up a storm thanks to all the extra people.
Mexican restaurant Begging Burro had nearly a full house during lunch rush hour on Sunday.
Begging Burro is only open in the summer, but they do say more customers have dropped in because of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Begging Burro General Manager Jack Heyboer says, "Oh definitely. We are heavily impacted by the Rally. We have a lot of bikers come in during the day. It seems to be a nice day trip from Sturgis to come out and see the sights and Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, some of the other surrounding areas, and then they come here for lunch. So as you can see, we're pretty full right now and that seems to be the pace that we're going to keep up throughout the week."
The manager hopes people continue to eat at their restaurant and enjoy the tequila bar throughout the summer.
