John Roberts won re-election for his seat on the Rapid City Council representing Ward 4.

It was a tight race and Roberts won with 51% of the vote.

He says he feels excited about his victory and he's looking forward to the next three years.

Roberts hopes to see a lot of changes this term and to see many things get done.

John Roberts says, "It's definitely going to be infrastructure. It has been for the last six years and it's still on the top of my list. We've got to find ways to improve our roads in Rapid City. It's going to be very interesting to see the proposals that come in for the Civic Center. I think there's going to be a lot of discussion on that."

Roberts says he campaigned for the past three months.

He also says his opponent Helen Usera put on a tremendous race and did a great job.
