Family of four struck by car at the intersection of East North and Lacrosse Streets

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) Around 10:00pm this evening, the Rapid City Police Department and Rapid City Fire Department responded to a call of a car versus pedestrian.

A family of four was walking through the intersection of East North Street and Lacrosse Street when a car traveling south-bound struck them.

The police found a mother, father, and their two young daughters injured when they crossed East North Street at a designated crosswalk.

The vehicle did stop and police do not suspect alcohol was a factor of this incident.

All four victims were transported to Rapid City Regional Health via ambulance and police did not have any information regarding the extent of their injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
