The Family Heritage Alliance welcomed lawmakers in for a legislative luncheon Monday afternoon.
F-H-A's Executive Director, Dale Bartscher says it's a great way for more than a hundred people to come together and discuss the importance of the upcoming session, focusing on issues they are passionate about.
Bartscher says, "The Family Heritage Alliance is all about exciting, equipping, and engaging our partners here in the state of South Dakota. We hold these luncheons across the state and we find South Dakotans want to be informed about the issues taking place in Pierre and the legislative level, and these are our grassroots individuals."
Bartscher says this session F-H-A is bringing a couple of resolutions to the desks of legislators. One issue being physician-assisted suicide and another being pornography.
He says they would also continue to support pro-life legislation as well as combating human-trafficking in the state.
