Both the Rapid City Police and Fire Departments responded to a two-car rollover crash Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at the corner of East Omaha and LaCrosse Streets around 8:30 a.m. Nobody involved, including the four occupants in a gold van and the one occupant in the orange Saturn that rolled required medical transport from accident, but traffic was slowed while the clean up took place.
Rapid City Police Department Public Information Officer Brendyn Medina says, "We had a southbound gold van that was attempting to negotiate a right hand turn to go eastbound on Omaha. As that was negotiating its turn, we had an eastbound vehicle, this Saturn that you see behind me, so that was eastbound on Omaha and ended up colliding with the van as it was negotiating that turn."
The driver of the gold van was cited for not having a driver's license and driving without insurance.
