Cops fail to catch biker in heels

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN TV) - We don’t know for sure but it might have been the women’s heels a biker was wearing that got the attention of Rapid City police Saturday.

About 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Rapid City police believe they spotted a motorcycle rider involved in an earlier incident in Rapid Valley.

Police saw a red motorcycle on Omaha Street and tried to stop it but the rider sped off. When the motorcyclist rode onto the bike path the police had to stop the pursuit.

Earlier in the day, Pennington County Sheriff’s Office was investigating an incident where a motorcyclist was ramming his bike into vehicles around Twilight Drive and Sweetbriar Street.

The biker was described as wearing a brown coat, women’s heels; and having long black hair that was possibly a wig.
