We are in the final days of the 77th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and city officials are already calling it a success.
Just as quick as the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally hit the Black Hills, it comes to a close just as fast.
With only days left of bike week, the City of Sturgis says they issued more than 650 temporary vendor licenses. That's up from 623 last year.
Some vendors in Sturgis say this year hasn't been the best, but the city has heard otherwise.
Christina Steele, Public Information Officer with the City of Sturgis says, "People seem relaxed and they're having a good time. So we're really happy for that. Vendors are where we expected them to be this year and a lot of them have reported really good sales. I think they have enjoyed it too, they're not trying to entice sales in 100 to 105 degrees. It's gone really well."
Steele says this year's weather has added to the success of this year's big event.
The rally officially wraps up on Sunday.
