RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Three weeks before a Piedmont man was to stand trial for attempted murder, there is word about a change of plea.
The trial for Michael Wisecarver, 49, was supposed to start Dec. 8 but during a pre-trial hearing Friday, his defense attorney asked for a plea hearing.
No word on what Wisecarver will plead to. He originally claimed he was not guilty.
Wisecarver is accused of shooting Chad Arnold in front of a Pleasant Drive home in west Rapid City July 2.
Wisecarver’s plea hearing is set for Nov. 28.
