Rapid City, SD A downtown Rapid City coffee house now has a new location - serving craft brews from coffee to beer.

Pure Bean opened its third shop off Catron Boulevard on Saturday.

The location was formerly home to Rumours - but Pure Bean took over and remodeled the space in just about 3 days.

They say they're serving up the area's only locally air-roasted coffee beans and beer from breweries including Rapid City's Lost Cabin and Hay Camp.

Owners also hope to add area wineries to the menu.

Mark Royalty, the owner of Pure Bean, said "That there's an amazing craft beverage segment that's blossoming here in the Black Hills. So we want to really be a place to showcase that, because it really fits with our craft coffee. The same type of customers that like the really high quality coffee, like really high quality alcoholic beverages too."

Pure Bean's beer list includes specialty coffee stouts.

And get a taste of the west with Rapid City's newest barbecue joint.

RC BBQ Company hosted its grand opening, Monday - taking over the former Lintz Brothers Pizza restaurant's Rapid City location.

The business comes from the same owners of Rapid City's Philly Ted's.

The food is cooked fresh - with meats smoked every day - including riblets, brisket, and prime rib and served with a side of hickory-smoked mac n' cheese or baked beans.

Meals are all you can eat, buffet style - but served table-side.

And Owners modeled the dining room with a Western South Dakota theme.

Nancy Trautman, the co-owner of RC BBQ Company, said "We want folks to feel like they're coming into our home to enjoy dinner with us. We have been using our own recipes in many ways. The dessert has recipes from my family that we've used for years."

RC BBQ Company also offers carry out and soon hopes to include catering services.
