Armed robber hits Ranch Mart in Rapid Valley

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - An armed robbery was reported at the Fresh Start (used to be Ranch Mart) on Highway 44 East about 3:30 Monday morning.

According to the Rapid City police, a store clerk was at the counter when a man pulled a pistol, set it on the counter and demanded money.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as about six foot tall, with an average build, in his mid-20s. He was wearing a black and gray wind coat, blue jeans, a black face mask and a black beanie hat.
