From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, the auto insurance and travel agency provided free maintenance checks to vehicles. They did a complete overlook, including battery checks, filling windshield wiper fluids, and checking and filling air in tires. AAA says it's their way of providing a service along with keeping the Rapid City community safe.
Rhonda Keller, Branch Manager Rapid City AAA, says "it's a public service, and it is for anybody, you don't have to be an AAA member. It is the first day of winter and it feels like winter."
