A 24-year-old Rapid City man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to false imprisonment and two separate counts of no contact order violations.

Tanner Nelson was previously charged with second degree rape - but a plea agreement dropped that charge and left him with the three charges he was found guilty of.
Seventh Circuit Court Judge Heidi Linngren followed through with the recommendations of the plea agreement between prosecutors and the defense - sentencing him to 4 months of suspended jail time on each charge, running consecutively.
