Spearfish boys seeing success on the hardcourt
Tuesday, 31 January 2012 12:31
Class 'A' competition seems to suit the Spearfish Spartan boys' basketball team, and they hope this year's squad can carry them deep into post-season play.  Spearfish is off to a 9-and-3 start to the season with eight games remaining in the regular season.

Coach Erik Skoglund says, just like they're namesakes, these Spartans have come together as a unit, and that teamwork has translated to wins on the court.  The Spartan boys hit the court later Tuesday night to take on the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers.  That game is slated for an 8 o'clock tip-off.
