Next season's Rapid City Rush squad will already look significantly different from last year's team. The club did re-sign defenseman Riley Weslowski, but have lost assistant coach Mark DeSantis, and look to be losing Konrad Reeder, Shawn Limpright and Jesse Schultz.

Thursday, Joe Ferras and company wasted no time filling some of those holes. The Rush announced the signing of three forwards to next year's team.  Damian Surma becomes the second player with NHL experience to join the Rush. The 10-year veteran tallied 31 goals for the Dayton Gems last season.Rusty Masters comes to Rapid City after spending last season with the Laredo Bucks, ending the season with 46 points, 16 of those as goals.  AJ Hau rounds out the trio picking up 12 goals and 16 assists in 53 games last season for the Laredo Bucks and entering his third year as a pro.  Some other moves of note, the Rush will face some familiar faces when next season begins. Colt King has recently signed with the Missouri Mavericks while Ryan Menei is also back from overseas, signing to play for the Tulsa Oilers. Both were with the team two seasons ago.
