Plenty action from around the Hills on the high school gridiron and the Central Cobblers getting an early start to action as the first game of a double-header down at O'Harra Stadium.
The Cobblers kicking it off against Mitchell and hoping for a win against the Kernels.Central down 6-0 and Mitchell on the move, Brent Havlik on the keeper spins by Asau Rodriguez but gets planted by Jake Weber.-----------4th down for Mitchell and Havlik with the quick pass but it's picked by Taylor Houchin. But Central can do nothing with the pick.----------Mitchell back to work, Jason Greenway breaks off a nice 25 yard run that leads to a Kernel touchdown.----------Cobblers will answer. On 4th down the swing pass to Houchin who does pick up 12 yards and a first down.--------Same drive, the pitch to Houchin who will not be denied leans in for the touchdown.We'll have a final score for you coming up tonight at nine o'clock. |
