PIERRE, S.D. (AP) _ South Dakota Lottery officials say a ticket
sold in Custer is worth $10,000 in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
The ticket matched four of five white balls and the Powerball to
win the game's third prize. The odds of winning it are one in about
723,000. The winner has about six months to claim the money.
Powerball is played in most states, the District of Columbia and
the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot for the Saturday drawing is
$30 million.
