Cobbler boys entertain Belle Fourche

It doesn't get much nicer than it was Thursday to hit the golf course.  Thursday afternoon, Central and Belle Fourche took advantage of the pleasant conditions as both teams continue to tune up for the rapidly approaching State Meets.

Pick it up on the 2nd, Belle's Tyler Burr with a hefty putt to get off the green, but Burr misses this one by a couple of inches leaving himself the easy tap-in.  Teammate Austin Westlin with a lot of green as well, a nice effort, but Westlin watches as this one breaks to the right.  Off to the 3rd and Central's Jake Preble with a blind approach from behind the tree, the puff of dirt and a nice result as Preble puts himself on the dance floor.  Fellow Cobbler Noah Fenske in a spot of trouble in the greenside bunker, but a terrific out from Fenske. He'll salvage a par on the follow-up putt.  Burr now, gunning for birdie has this one pull right and scoots about 6 feet out.  Trying to close the door, the golfing gods are not on Burr's side as this one bounces free, forcing Burr to settle for the bogey.
