The event featured a networking luncheon, speaker, and awards presentation. Award winners were nominated by their co-workers, friends and family members.

     Tony Tolliver with Apria Health Care says, "We're honoring eight individuals today. Basically they're unsung heroes in their profession. What it is, is they go above and beyond what their normal work case or load is." Wednesday's award winners were Brian Griffith, Darlene Fernandez, Diane Coon, Darrell Slone, Senator Stan Adelstein, and a trio from Regional Health Neonatal Intensive Care.
