PIERRE, S.D. (AP) _ South Dakota lottery officials say there
were jackpot winners in two of the state's five games on Saturday.
A ticket sold in Sioux Falls won the $125,000 Wild Card 2
jackpot in Saturday's drawing, and a ticket sold in Peever won the
$21,120 Dakota Cash jackpot.
Dakota Cash is played only in South Dakota. The odds of winning
the jackpot are one in about 325,000. Wild Card 2 is played in
South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Idaho. The odds of winning
the jackpot are one in about 1.4 million.
Lottery officials say a Powerball ticket sold in Rapid City won
the game's third prize, and $50,000, Saturday. The odds are one in
about 723,000. Powerball is played in most states, the District of
Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
