It's a movie about grief, loss and love and Saturday the public was treated to a test screening of the award-winning South Dakota film. The film, "You Don't Know Bertha Constantine" was shot entirely in the Black Hills and the Badlands. Director and writer Andrew Kightlinger shot the film this summer as part of his master's thesis. Saturday the movie hit the silver screen at the Elks Theatre in Rapid City. The Pierre native says the test screening is a way to make sure the movie is put together perfectly before shown to future audiences. Andrew Kightlinger says, "What we're showing, is a rough cut of the movie and then we will get the advice of the audiences to see what works for them and what doesn't work for them. So it's a very common thing they do in Hollywood and we're doing it now. And the premiere will be later on, probably next year some time." The film took home the titles of "Best New Screenplay" from the 2009 Newport Film Festival and "Best Short Screenplay" from the 2010 Honolulu Film Festival.
