Young pleads guilty to murder

It was a crime that left an expecting mother and her unborn child dead and shocked many in the Rapid City community.

Now the man accused has admitted to the crime, meaning his case won't go to trial.

Michael Young, the ex-boyfriend of Morgan Myers, entered into an agreement with the state and pleaded guilty Monday to second degree murder.

Police say Verizon robbery was false report

Rapid City Police say a reported June 20th robbery at the Verizon Store on East Stumer Road wasn't a robbery at all.

Police say a Verizon employee, 40-year old Jason Knox of Rapid City, reported that a man came into the store, pointed a gun at him and demanded money from the register.

Accident sends one to hospital

A one-vehicle accident on Playhouse Road near Keystone sent one man to the hospital Monday evening.

A deputy with the Pennington County Sheriff's Office told Black Hills FOX that the vehicle was turning with the road when the driver lost control and hit a tree around seven this evening.

Sturgis Police gearing up for Rally week
