Keystone proponents continue to fight for pipeline despite override failure

Updated: 03/05/2015 - The U–S Senate failed on Wednesday to override President Obama's veto of legislation approving the Keystone XL Pipeline, falling 5 votes short of the two–thirds majority needed in a 62 to 37 vote. This was the first time Congress has voted on whether to override a veto from Obama, and with Republicans in control of the House and Senate, it could be a sign of things to come.
