Jerome Warrior sentenced to 14 years for his role in murder of Ferris Brings Plenty

20-year old Jerome Warrior was sentenced in federal court Monday afternoon for his role in the death of 30-year old Ferris Brings Plenty in July of 2015. Warrior is one of six Pine Ridge men involved in the murder.

The defense for a Box Elder man is trying to withdraw his guilty plea from a 2012 first degree rape case. Paul Hix entered a plea agreement in 2015 and admitted to raping a 10-year-old girl.

The Phillips 66 gas station and convenience store at Interstate 90 was robbed just after 10 p.m. Sunday.
