Judge details reasoning behind Buffalo Chip ruling

Legal counsel for the Buffalo Chip says the town of Buffalo Chip continues to do business as usual even though a circuit judge has reiterated in recent court filings his decision that the well-known campground is not legally incorporated.

Wednesday was the first day of school for students in Rapid City Area Schools, and the new superintendent was greeting the children as they walked through the doors.

Rapid City leaders made a proclamation Wednesday indicating the importance of school attendance.

To help boost attendance and motivate kids to come to school on time, one local principal is taking a new approach.
