RCFD kicks off annual "fill the boot" campaign

Local firefighters are getting ready to fill their boots with money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The annual MDA "Fill the Boot" campaign officially begins Wednesday morning with Rapid City firefighters collecting cash at various locations around town through Friday evening.

Rain brings curiosity to Spearfish Canyon PDF print email

A little closer to home, rain has been the big issue in the Northern Hills.Parts of Roughlock Lane have been closed in a residential part of Spearfish, just south of Interstate 90, as False Bottom Creek flooded over the road.  Residents say it's been raining off and on since Friday afternoon.

Rapid City police are asking for the public's help to identify a body found on North Cambell Street Monday. Employees at Kopren Motors were locking up vehicles Monday evening when they spotted the man lying in this drainage ditch behind the building.
