Deadwood wraps up St Patrick’s Day festivities

Even after Saturday night's heavy-duty celebration in Deadwood for Saint Patrick's Day, there was no slowing down Sunday. The wearin' of the green continued along with the drinkin' of the green. And it was topped off this afternoon with a Saint Patrick's Day parade down Main Street in Deadwood.

And today's Assistant Grand Marshall of the Parade was Mary Jane Smith.

Mary Jane Smith says, "Was this a pretty bit deal for you? Did you enjoy it? Yeah, I really enjoyed it. I had fun. Were you cold? Not really."

The Saint Patrick's Day festivities in Deadwood are sponsored by the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce. Estimates are that close to three thousand people attended.
