According to Black Hills State officials, a "virtual" business incubator supplies all the services of a normal business incubator, but without the building.

Barb Zwetzig says, "So, in a virtual incubator, we actually have no space for them to rent from us. The businesses have to work from their place of business. But they can still come to us to access all those other business services."

Some of the start-up money for the virtual incubator has come from Black Hills Vision and from the Small Business Administration's Women's Business Center.
