PIERRE, S.D. (AP) _ A South Dakota website design to recruit out-of-state workers will be featuring various communities across the state.
State Labor and Regulation Secretary Pam Roberts says that since Dakota Roots was established in 2006, more than 15,000 people have registered and 2,675 people have relocated to South Dakota and entered the workforce.
Roberts says the site is adding a featured community page, which will highlight interesting facts, news and popular jobs of the state's top cities.
She says that radio and online ads, social media engagement and a revamped website helped increase registrations last year by 63.5 percent and quadrupled Web traffic.
The site currently has more than 9,000 job postings.
