Two Rapid City men were in court Tuesday morning facing charges over a series of armed robberies that happened over several hours last month.

It started on December 18th, when a man robbed the Big D on East North Street with a gun. Early the next morning, police responded to reports of two more attempted armed robberies. The clerks refused to hand over money in both of those.

On Tuesday 23-year old Ryan Reub of Rapid City pleaded guilty to one count of first degree robbery, admitting to holding up the Big D with a BB gun to get money to buy drugs. He could get 25 years in prison when he's sentenced February 19th but his plea deal recommends no more than 15 years.

18-year old Max Imberi pleaded not guilty to one count of first degree robbery, two counts of attempted first degree robbery and two alternative counts of possession of a controlled substance.
